FC Lady Patriots Volleyball

Tryouts for the “Fall 2020” season will be held on Monday, February 22nd, and Tuesday, February 23rd, in the main gym, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. The final roster will be selected after the completion of tryouts on the 23rd.

Players are required to register for tryouts in advance due to the pandemic. Following is the link to this year’s Tryout Registration Form. PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. Players will fill out the online form and then also send additional items by email to Coach Magula (emagula@verizon.net).

Players are required to check in with the Athletic Trainer before tryouts in order to complete COVID screening. It is advised that players arrive between 4:30 and 4:45 for screening to avoid being late to tryouts. The training room is accessed at the back of the building, adjacent to the concession stand. Players should not enter the gym prior to being screened.

Players are required to have a current physical, dated on or after May 1, 2020, in order to participate. The signed paperwork must be submitted to the Athletic Trainer and approved prior to participation. The physical form is available at www.vhsl.org.

Players are required to wear a mask when inside the building. The two exceptions are during active participation on the court and during water breaks. Upon arrival in the gym, players should place any personal items against the bleachers, spaced 6 feet from any other player’s gear.

Players need to bring a re-fillable, leakproof water bottle. Water stations will not be provided by the athletic trainers this year. The water fountain in the gym lobby can be used to refill bottles as needed.
